Artist, living in Naarm.

I'm a crafter of sounds and sometimes visuals. My compositions are often centred around my cafe-classical and backyard-jazz guitar playing, and twist intricate rhythms with romantic balladry, often evolving/devolving into unfamiliar environments, through improvisation and experimentation.

After spending (2018-2020) playing with my acoustic jazz-fusion trio, across Melbourne and Regional Victoria, we played a sold out show at the Door Gallery Cafe, as a fair well to the trio, and as a launch for my most listened to song - 'Wings' (2020). This show was recorded and can be streamed and purchased. 

I then refocused on composing and collaborating virtually, research and study, and brewing projects from the comfort of the home studio.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Music Composition and Technology (2023), I released my debut album 'REST' under my new name - 'raamii'.

REST is a full length prog/psych/art/folk/fusion studio album that, through a story of escapism and the journey toward inner peace in a chaotic and brutal world, tries to capture the artist’s genuine voice, psyche, and the organicness of art creation through a sincere and raw approach to studio performance.

For 2024 I'll be living in Naarm, developing many works and collaborations. One of which is a six piece live / studio outfit 'raamii6' (to be announced), as well as being a core member of Naarm-based spontaneous improvisation collective 'Translucid', and collaborating closely with local up-and-comers, the likes of Jordan Deneka, Milo Emmanuel and Daniel Jasper Parr. 

I'll also be busy researching and developing concepts and practises around music, philosophy and activism, and running private tuition from my studio (Feb2024 onwards).
